How to Make a Paper Plate Wreath
First, let’s get everything ready so you can avoid all those interruptions.
What you will need
- Paper Plate
- Pipe cleaner [ Buy ]
- Cream card
- Markers – black and pink
- Wool for hair
The first step in designing a paper plate angel is to cut the paper plate in half. Fold one of the halves into a cone shape and glue so that it maintains the cone shape and let it dry to form the body.
Cut the remaining half of the paper plate into three equal triangular shapes. Use two of the triangles for the angel wings.
Add glue to your paper plate angel wings and decorate with some glitter for a sparkly effect.
Fold the paper doily in quarters and cut out the middle circle. Cut the doily into two equal parts. Add glue to the doily and stick to the front of the paper plate.
Cut out a circle on the cream card and draw on your face with the black and pink markers.
Use your wool to make the hair. Fold the wool approx. ten times and cut each end. Add glue to the top of the face and add hair. To keep the hair in place you can add a touch of glue to each side.
Glue the face to the top of the body.
Add glue on the back of the body and stick on the wings.
Make a halo with the pipe cleaner and glue to the back of the head.
There you have it, your very own paper plate angel for your Christmas Tree.
