But that’s why kids craft is so much fun, it’s the perfect time to let their imagination run wild.
Anyway, let’s get started.
How to Make a Rocking Paper Pate Chick
First, let’s get everything ready so you can leave the little ones to get busy and avoid all those interruptions.
Skill Level – Easy
Time Required – 15 minutes
What you will need
- Paper plate
- Orange construction paper
- Googly eye
First, paint your paper plate your favorite color for your chick then let dry before folding the paper plate in half. This makes up your rocking paper plate chick.
Next, fold a piece of orange construction card in half and cut out a triangle.
Glue your beck to the inside of the paper plate.
Then add your googly eye near the top of the fold.
Using your feathers glue some in the middle of the paper plate to form your wings. If you don’t have any feathers handy you could also make your wings using construction card. Now you are finished making your rocking paper plate chick.
Bonus Tip: Add some feet if you like, just make sure they don’t extend past the edges of the plate, or this chick will have trouble rocking.
